Coaches
Led by Mike Dunn (BPD, M Ed., B Ed., Level 3 NCCP Coach) our team of coaches will work with your young athlete helping them to achieve their best. All of our coaches credit wrestling as the best choice in their lives and are eager to assist in the next generation of Hero Wrestlers.
Mike Dunn is the Head Coach of Hero Wrestling. He believes that wrestling is the ultimate character builder and a successful wrestler will find success in all areas of life. Coaching since 1986, Mike most recently has been the Team Alberta Head Coach for both the Western Canada Summer Games and the 2013 Canada Summer Games and has, over his career, won Alberta Coach of the Year 4 times.

Assistant Coaches
Andy Hutchinson has extensive coaching and wrestling experience. He was formerly the head coach of University of Calgary's wrestling team and is now the head coach for Sir Winston Churchill High School. Additionally, Andy has been the Canada Games head coach. As a wrestler, he earned a silver medal for Canada at the Commonwealth Games.
Jeremy Ballantine started wrestling in 1994 when he was 11 years old. He is a member of the original team that started in the basement of King Edward School. He is a 3 time National Silver-medallist and has used his wrestling experience to catapult him into his career as a sports broadcaster. He is a Level 2 NCCP Coach and has coached from elementary to adult athletes.
